Great for a family holiday
We had a great holiday with our children and grandchildren. We stayed with 3 families together. Because there are 4 different gites of different sizes, it is very suitable for a family holiday. The whole is neat and tidy. The grounds are closed and so is the swimming pool, so that young children can play outside safely. The swimming pool is really great. The reception is hospitable and we were given tips for the stay and activities in the area.Jan – August 2024

Great location for visiting the region
We had a great stay, the property had everything we needed and the pool was great. The location makes it easy to get to local villages and larger towns, making it a great base for day trips (we easily went to the beach near Royan, La Rochelle, Cognac, Saintes, and Pons nearby was a lovely spot for a drink or meal in historic surroundings.Mike – August 2024
Perfect for a family holiday

Fabulous
Spent 2 nights in the Pervenche room at the end of Aug 2024. Beautiful/comfortable/modern rooms, 2 bathrooms and a spacious kitchen/living room overlooking a relaxing country side landscape...laundry room, library room, game room, a playground...and even a beautiful swimming pool which - due to lack of time - I could not enjoy. Overall, a lovely place at a great price/quality ratio. Last but definitely not least: the kindness of the hosts and their attentions to the guests...will definitely return if I come back to this area. Well done!Gaetano – August 2024
A great location, well equipped gîte
A great location for five of us hiking the GR655 trail. Tim was very helpful. Kitchen a little tight for all of us but very well equipped. The second floor bedroom very spacious. A suggestion would be to have two twin beds together for king size so you could separate if need be. The top floor is great for kids but if we had four adults, it would be tight.

Ideal for a group of friends
We had a pleasant stay with our group of 20 people.
A warm welcome, Mr and Mrs Westacott are really very friendly and available.
The cottages are very clean, well equipped, spacious and quiet. Well located for visiting the region.
The terrace and the swimming pool will delight travelers who wish to enjoy the outdoors.

Haven of peace
Everything... the cottage is wonderfully run by a very friendly and welcoming English couple. I stayed 2 nights in the Pervenche room in late August 2024.
